Scope

GB/T 35955-2018 is the English-translated version of 抑汗(香体)液（乳、喷雾、膏）.

GB/T 35955-2018 is the Chinese national standard for antiperspirant and deodorant cosmetics sold as liquids, lotions, sprays and creams.

It covers products whose active ingredient is an aluminium zirconium chlorohydrate complex, an aluminium zirconium chlorohydrex glycine complex, zinc phenolsulfonate or aluminium chlorohydrate, and it notes that the two zirconium complexes are not allowed in spray products.

The standard sets out terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and the rules for marking, packaging, transport, storage and shelf life.

Raw materials have to meet the Cosmetics Safety Technical Specification (2015 Edition), and fragrances have to meet GB/T 22731. It applies to products with an antiperspirant effect or with both antiperspirant and deodorant effects. It was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the hydroxy zirconate aluminum complex [AlxZr (OH) yClz] (except spray products) and/or zirconium hydroxychlorohydrin with Terminology (except spray products) and/or anti-perspiration (deodorant) fluids (milk, spray, cream) containing zinc phenolsulfonate and/or aluminum chlorohydrate as the active ingredient And definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, shelf life.

This standard applies to zirconium hydroxychloride complex [AlxZr (OH) yClz] (except spray products) and/or zirconium hydroxychlorohydrin with (Excluding spray products) and/or zinc phenolsulfonate and/or aluminum chlorohydrate as the active ingredient, with anti-perspiration effect or anti-perspiration Effective anti-perspiration (deodorant) liquid, anti-sweat (deodorant) milk, anti-perspiration (deodorant) spray, antiperspirant (deodorant) cream.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Anti-perspiration (fragrant) liquid (lotion, spray, paste)

The combination of a zirconium hydroxychloride aluminum complex [AlxZr (OH) yClz] (excluding spray products) and/or a zirconium hydroxychloride glycinate complex), and/or anti-perspirant such as zinc phenate sulfonate and/or aluminum chlorohydrate, and other ingredients formulated with anti-perspiration effect or both Liquid, lotion, spray and paste products.

Note: The Cosmeticafety Technical Specification (2015 Edition) states that zirconium hydroxychlorohydrex [AlxZr (OH) yClz] and zirconium hydroxychloro glycine complexes are prohibited Spray products.

4 Requirements

4.1 Raw materials

Raw materials used shall comply with the "Cosmetics Safety Technical Specification (2015 Edition)" requirement. Flavor should be used in line with GB/T 22731 requirements.
