1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms, definitions, principles, and sampling related to the determination method of insoluble solids after pretreatment of forestry biomass raw materials. Method and sample preparation, reagents and instruments, results calculation, precision and test report.
This standard applies to the determination of insoluble solids content of suspension raw materials after pretreatment of forestry biomass.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 30366-2013 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Forestry biomass suspension
The heterogeneous mixture of water-soluble substances and water-insoluble solid substances obtained after pretreatment of forestry biomass raw materials.
3.2 Water-insoluble solid material
The deionized water was used to wash the forest biomass suspension with insoluble material having a glucose content of less than 0.05 g/L.
4 Principle
Under the condition that forestry biomass suspension is uniformly mixed, the water-soluble substance and the water-insoluble solid substance are separated by centrifugation.
The water-insoluble solids were then heated at 105°C until moisture and volatiles were completely removed, and the mass after constant weight was measured.
5 Sampling methods and sample preparation
Vigorously oscillate the forestry biomass suspension to ensure even mixing and take samples from it.
6 Reagents and Instruments
6.1 Deionized water.
