1 Scope
This standard specifies the bolts, screws and studs (hereinafter referred to as external thread fasteners) pre-coated reusable polyamide locking layer (the following Jane

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Polyamide locking layer
Polyamide Adhesive to Prevent Loosening of Male Threaded Fasteners. The adhesive layer may be applied over the entire circumference (R) or topically (F).
3.2 Screw in torque-in torque
Tin
Torque measured when male threaded fastener is screwed into nut specimen.
3.3 Tightening torque
TA Torque applied to the nut or male fastener head when tightened.
3.4 Unscrew the torque

Unscrew the male threaded fastener until the axial load is removed and continue to unscrew to the maximum torque measured at the disengagement locking layer engagement area.
