This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard gives terms and definitions related to low-rank coal upgrading technology.

This standard applies to the principles, processes, processes, etc. involved in low-rank coal upgrading technology.

2 Basic terms

2.1 Low rank coal

Coal with a lower degree of coalification usually refers to lignite, long-flame coal, non-coked coal, and the like.

2.2 Low rank coal upgrading technology

Processing technology for the purpose of improving low-grade coal quality and improving the applicability of processing and utilization. Including dehydration, pyrolysis, molding, and the like.

2.3 Upgraded coal

Low-rank coal is processed through a certain upgrading process to obtain the coal product.

2.4 Dehydration and upgrading

The process of reducing the moisture of low rank coal. According to different water removal forms, it can usually be divided into evaporation dehydration and non-evaporative dehydration.

2.5 Evaporation dehydration upgrade

The process by which moisture is removed from the coal in gaseous form.

2.6 Non-evaporation dehydration upgrade

The process of removing moisture from coal in liquid form.

2.7 Pyrolysis upgrading

The process of removing moisture and volatiles from coal at a certain temperature and inert atmosphere, changing its physical and chemical properties.

2.8 Forming and upgrading

After the coal is molded at a certain temperature and pressure, the physical and chemical properties are changed to improve the utilization performance.

2.9 Reabsorption

The upgraded coal re-absorbs the moisture in the environment under certain environmental conditions to increase the water content.
