GB/T 35060.2-2018 is Part 2 of the general specification for drum shearers working on underground longwall coal faces, and deals with the cutting transmission unit.

It sets the requirements for the unit, the test methods, the inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage. The requirements begin with general rules on manufacture to approved drawings and technical documents, raw materials, standard and purchased parts and inspection of machined parts, followed by assembly to JB/T 5000.10.

Its references cover gear accuracy, carburized and nitrided layers, steel castings and their ultrasonic testing, gear oil selection and floating oil seals. The other parts of the series deal with the complete machine, the haulage unit and the electrical control system. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword

GB/T 35060 "General technical conditions for drum shearer" is divided into four parts.

--- Part 1. The whole machine;

--- Part 2. Cutting transmission;

---Part 3. Travel drive;

--- Part 4. Electrical control system.

This part is the second part of GB/T 35060.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 35060 stipulates the requirements, test methods, and cutting gears for the drum shearer for underground mining coal mining face. Inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage.

This section applies to the cutting drive of the longwall mining method using a drum shearer (hereinafter referred to as "seminator").

3 Requirements

3.1 General requirements

3.1.1 The cutting gear shall be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and technical documents approved by the prescribed procedures.

3.1.2 The raw materials used in the manufacture of cutting gears shall comply with the requirements of the drawings.

3.1.3 The type, specification and performance of standard parts and purchased parts should meet the design requirements.

3.1.4 Parts processed according to the design drawings shall be inspected and qualified.

3.2 Assembly requirements

3.2.1 Assembly shall comply with the provisions of JB/T 5000.10.
