GB/T 34821-2017 is the English-translated version of 体重控制保健服务要求.
GB/T 34821-2017 sets the requirements for weight control healthcare services.
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the terms and definitions of weight control health services, their classification, basic requirements, infrastructure, personnel management, service delivery, specialized technology, documentation and records, the evaluation of inspection and of service quality, the handling of unqualified services and service improvement, and disputes and complaints.
The same clause states that it applies to organizations and their premises that provide customers with non-medical weight control health care services, and that it can also be used as a reference for conformity assessment of the quality of such services.
The introduction explains that the requirements are put in four aspects, service safety, health, profession and comfort, so that these organizations and their business premises are managed to a standard and can give consumers a continuous and standardized service that complies with the relevant national laws, regulations and standards.
Clause 3 defines weight control as the activity of using professional techniques, on the premise of safety and health, to improve human indicators such as body mass index, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio, skinfold thickness and body fat percentage, and defines the weight control health service as the beauty and body care services provided for weight control purposes by skilled personnel within the organization and its premises.
It then takes its measurement terms from outside the standard: body mass index, the ratio of weight in kilograms to the square of height in metres, rewritten from definition 3.3 of WS/T 428-2013, height from definition 3.3 of WS/T 424-2013, and waist circumference from definition 3.6 of the same document.
The draft breaks off inside those definitions and the page gives no table of contents, so the requirements themselves are not shown; clause 2 cites GB/T 30443, GB/T 30444 and WS/T 424.

Introduction
For the purpose of weight control, the standardized management of health service organizations and their business premises can provide consumers with continuous and standardized services To comply with the relevant laws and regulations of our country and related standards, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of weight control health service industry, this standard The characteristics of China's weight control health service industry put forward requirements in four aspects of service safety, health, profession and comfort.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 30443, GB/T 30444 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Weight control
Under the premise of safety and health, using professional techniques to improve body mass index, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio, skinfold thickness, body fat percentage, visceral fat fingers Number of other human indicators of activity.
