1 Scope
This standard specifies the general provisions of elevator equipment operation services, content, facilities, environment and implementation and evaluation.
This standard applies to the operation of the following elevator equipment used in public places, other places of the elevator equipment can refer to the implementation of this standard.
a) traction and forced drive elevator;
b) Hydraulic drive elevator;
c) Escalators and moving walkways.
This standard does not apply to debris elevators, household elevators.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 7024 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Run the service
During the period from the delivery of the elevator equipment to its decommissioning, the service organization provides services to meet the needs of passengers and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
3.2 Elevator equipment instalation
Installed and tested elevators, escalators and moving walkways.
3.3 Maintain
Necessary to ensure the safety and intended function of the elevator equipment and its components after the installation is complete and throughout its useful life operating.
Maintenance can include the following operations.
