GB/T 33946-2017 is the English-translated version of 电磁推射装置用铜合金型、棒材.

GB/T 33946-2017 is the Chinese national product standard for the high strength, high conductivity copper alloy profiles and bars used in electromagnetic launch assemblies.

It fixes the product classification, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport, storage and quality certificate, and it covers the material as used in high speed trains, spacecraft, land based electromagnetic launch equipment, marine vessels, construction machinery, blasting and central air conditioning.

Grades and tempers are set by Table 1 and the dimensions by Table 2, with the profile thicknesses, the V angle, the V arc radius and the V depth shown in Figure 1.

Testing follows the copper and copper alloy methods it cites, among them GB/T 228.1, GB/T 3310, GB/T 5121 and GB/T 33370. It was issued on 12 July 2017 and has applied since 1 February 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the electromagnetic projection device copper alloy type, bar product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, Transport, storage, quality certificate and purchase order (or contract) content.

This standard applies to high-speed rail intercity train, spacecraft, land-based electromagnetic telescopic weapons, marine vessels, construction machinery, blasting and fire in the Central air-conditioning and other industries with electromagnetic projection device required for high-strength high-conductivity copper alloy type, bar (hereinafter referred to as type, bar).

3.1 Grade, status, specifications

Type, bar grades, the state should be consistent with the provisions of Table 1. Type, bar specifications should be consistent with the provisions of Table 2. Profile thickness a, b, V-shaped Angle alpha, V-shaped arc radius R and V-shaped depth h, as shown in Figure 1.
