Scope

GB/T 33795-2017 is the English-translated version of 反应染料 水解速率的测定.

GB/T 33795-2017 is the Chinese national method for measuring how much of a reactive dye hydrolyses while it is dyeing.

It sets out the principle: the dye is applied to cotton fibre, the hydrolysis products that form as dyeing proceeds are separated by liquid chromatography, and their peak areas are compared with the peak area of the effective dye and converted into a total hydrolysis rate, which is plotted against dyeing time as a hydrolysis rate curve.

Reagents, materials and equipment follow GB/T 2374-2017: a spectrophotometer, a liquid chromatograph and a laboratory dyeing machine. The dyeing conditions are given, among them a dyeing depth of 2% (owf) on 10 g of cotton yarn.

It applies to KN and M type reactive dyes, cites GB/T 2391-2014, was issued on 31 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of the rate of hydrolysis of the reactive dyes during dyeing.

This standard is applicable to the determination of hydrolysis rate of KN and M reactive dyes during dyeing.

2 Normative reference documents

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only the dated edition applies to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all modifications) applies to this document.

GB/T 2374-2017 General conditions for dye dyeing determination

GB/T 2391-2014 Determination of fixation rate of reactive dyes

3 Principle

The reactive dyes are stained on cotton fibers, and as the dyeing process progresses, various hydrolysates are gradually produced. Determination of the dyeing process by liquid chromatography The peak area of the hydrolyzate is calculated by comparing the peak area of the effective dyes to which the dye is dyed and by a series of conversion corrections.

The sum of the hydrolysis rates of the product. And then the dyeing time for the abscissa, the total hydrolysis rate as the ordinate, drawing hydrolysis rate curve. To hydrolysis rate The curve shows the rate of hydrolysis of the reactive dye during the dyeing process.

4 Reagents and materials
