GB/T 33621-2017 is the Chinese test method for the bending properties of three-dimensional braided fabric and of the resin matrix composites made from it.
It defines the three-dimensional braided fabric, made by a braiding process in which the yarns move in four directions in space and interlace into a single non-layered fabric, the resin matrix three-dimensional braided composite, and the braiding unit cell, the smallest complete braided unit of the fabric.
It applies to three-dimensional braided fabric and its resin matrix composites, and it does not apply to three-dimensional braided fabric of shaped structure. It cites GB/T 1446-2005 on the general rules for the test methods of fibre-reinforced plastics. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

3.1 Three-dimensional braid
Using three-dimensional weaving process, weaving yarn in the space four staggered movement, intertwined to form a non-layered overall fabric.
3.2 Resin based three - dimensional braided composites
Organic composites as matrix, three-dimensional braid for the reinforcement of the composite material.
3.3 Weave unit cell
The smallest complete knitting unit in a three-dimensional braid is shown in Figure 1.
