Scope
GB/T 33619-2017 is the English-translated version of 芳纶及其混编纤维的三维织物.
GB/T 33619-2017 covers three-dimensional fabrics made of aramid and of aramid blended with other fibres. It specifies the terms and definitions, the classification and code, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, storage and transportation of these fabrics.
It defines the three-dimensional braided fabric as one produced by moving the braiding yarns in four staggered directions in space, and notes that axial, hexagonal and seven-directional yarns can be laid parallel to the braiding, width and thickness directions to give the five-, six- and seven-directional structures.
It applies to three-dimensional braided and three-dimensional woven fabrics that use aramid as the main raw material, blended with carbon fibre or other high-performance fibres, as a composite reinforcement. Issued on 12 May 2017, it has applied since 1 December 2017.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Three-dimensional braid
Using three-dimensional weaving process, weaving yarn in the space four staggered movement, intertwined to form a non-layered overall fabric.
Note: The basic structure of the three-dimensional braid is three-dimensional four-way, in order to make the material in a specific direction with more prominent performance, in three-dimensional four-weaving structure (Axis yarns), hexagonal yarns and seven-direction yarns parallel to the weaving direction, width direction and thickness direction can be incorporated into or at the same time, Dimensional five-way, six-way and seven-way weaving structure, as shown in Figure 1.
