GB/T 33614-2017 is the English-translated version of 三维编织物及其树脂基复合材料压缩性能试验方法.
GB/T 33614-2017 is the Chinese method for measuring the compression properties of a three-dimensional braided fabric and of the resin-matrix composite made with it.
It applies to three-dimensional braids and their polymer matrix composites, and not to braids of shaped structure.
It defines the braid itself, woven by yarns that move in four directions in space and interlace into a single fabric with no layers, the composite that uses such a braid as reinforcement, and the braiding unit cell, the smallest complete braiding unit, with its pitch length and pitch width: the spacing of the like-oriented yarns along and across the braiding direction.
It cites the general rules for fibre-reinforced plastics test methods of GB/T 1446-2005 and the thickness determination of GB/T 7689.1-2013. It was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the test method for the compressive properties of three-dimensional braid and its resin-based composites.
This standard applies to three-dimensional braid and its resin-based composite materials.
This standard does not apply to three-dimensional braid with shaped structure.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Three-dimensional braid
Using three-dimensional weaving process, weaving yarn in the space four staggered movement, intertwined to form a non-layered overall fabric.
3.2 Resin based three - dimensional braided composites
Organic composites as matrix, three-dimensional braid for the reinforcement of the composite material.
3.3 Weave unit cell
The smallest complete knitting unit in a three-dimensional braid is shown in Fig.
3.4 Unit cell length; Fancy length
The spacing between the knitting yarns of the same orientation in the lengthwise direction (weaving direction) of the knitting structure is formed by a knitting machine cycle Of the fabric length, as shown in Figure 1.
3.5 Cell width; Flower width
The spacing between the same orientation of the knitting yarn in the width direction of the knitting structure is shown in Fig.
