GB/T 33244-2016 is the English-translated version of 数字硬打样系统质量要求及检验方法.
GB/T 33244-2016 specifies the quality requirements for the digital hard-copy proofing system and the method of testing it on paper test proofs.
Clause 1 states that it applies to digital hard proofing systems that use electrostatic imaging or inkjet imaging as the mechanism and paper materials as the substrate, and that other digital hard proofing systems may use it for reference.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 8941-2007, GB/T 10073, GB/T 18722, a further printing technology document on spectral measurement and colorimetric calculation for printed images whose number the draft does not print, and CY/T 3.
Clause 3 defines the digital hard copy proof and the half-tone proof, both quoted from ISO 12647-7:2007, the simulated half-tone proof, the proofing substrate quoted from GB/T 17934.1-1999, and one further term quoted from GB/T 9851.1-2008, for an image with an unlimited number of tonal levels in shade and tone and with no screen, whose term name the draft garbles.
The contents then list the quality requirements clause and clause 5 test method, with three tables giving the particle size range, the spot range and the gray balance colour combinations, and three figures showing the colour uniformity test form, the resolution target and the division of the measurement areas for output image noise.
Six appendices follow: normative ones giving the test form pattern of the digital hard proofing system and the test data for testing noise, and informative ones on the proportional tolerance range for brightness, gloss and CIELAB colour space values, on the standard deviation of colorimetric values and colour difference, on the correspondence between line pair and line width, and on the lining materials for chromaticity measurement.
The foreword says the standard is held by the National Printing Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC170), and the page files it under ICS 37.100.01 and Chinese classification A17. It was issued on 13 December 2016 and has applied since 1 July 2017.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the quality requirements of the digital hard proofing system and the method of testing by paper test proofs.
This standard applies to electrostatic imaging or inkjet imaging as the mechanism to paper materials for the substrate of the digital hard proofing system, the other digital hard Proofing system can refer to use.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Digital hard proofs
