3.1 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document.

3.1.1 Data storage as a service

Cloud storage

Data storage as a service refers to a service delivery mode, which complies with the specified service level with scalability, and provides virtualized storage and data service in the demand-based and demand-billed mode through the network. This delivery mode does not need configuration, or, is configurated through the self-service mode.

3.1.2 Metadata

Metadata refers to data that defines and describes other data.

5.4 Requirements of Error Message Description

If an error occurred in the processing of HTTP request, apart from providing a code that identifies corresponding error in the response message, error message should also be described in the response message. Please refer to Table 2 for the description of error message.
