GB/T 43431-2023 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 云数据存储和管理 基于对象的云存储应用接口测试方法.
GB/T 43431-2023 is the Chinese national test method for the application programming interface of object-based cloud storage.
It sets a general test environment and then tests the general requirements of such an interface: the interface protocol, identity security management, status code descriptions, error message requirements, access control, supplementary error information, and the common request and response headers.
Its contents list divides the interface tests themselves into container-related functions and object-related functions. Clause 1 states that the document is for the testing and research application of object-based cloud storage interfaces.
The terms container, metadata, object and object-based cloud storage are taken from GB/T 31916.1-2015 and GB/T 31916.2-2015, which are also the two standards it quotes. Issued on 27 November 2023, it has applied since 1 June 2024.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Container
A logical space for storing objects in object-based cloud storage.
Note: A container consists of container name, container ID and metadata. Each container has a globally unique container ID. Uniquely located by container ID to the container. 3.2 Metadata

3.3 Object
A data unit that records user data.
