Scope

GB/T 31101-2023 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 实时定位系统性能测试方法.

GB/T 31101-2023 sets the requirements for testing how well a real-time locating system performs, and describes the test methods, for the systems aimed at indoor navigation.

It first fixes the test conditions, the test object, the test environment, the choice of the test scenario and of the coordinate system, the test points and the deployment of the system under test, and then gives a method for each performance figure: position accuracy and position precision, positioning delay, floor judgment accuracy, indoor and outdoor judgment accuracy, relative position accuracy, positioning success rate, movement speed, coverage and concurrency.

A last clause fixes the test report. It states that it has no normative references. It replaces GB/T 31101-2014, was issued on 7 September 2023 and has applied since 1 April 2024.

Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 31101-2014 "Information technology automatic identification and data collection technology real-time positioning system performance test "Method", compared with GB/T 31101-2014, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) The term "positioning error indicator" is deleted (see 3.1 of the 2014 version);

b) Added the terms "circular probability error", "spherical probability error", "static positioning", "dynamic positioning", "positioning accuracy" and "positioning accuracy" (See Chapter 3);

c) Added a number of symbols related to static positioning, dynamic positioning, floor judgment, and indoor and outdoor judgment (see Chapter 4);

d) Added the abbreviations "RSS" and "UTC" (see Chapter 5);

e) Changed the composition of test objects (see 6.1, 2014 version of 6.1);

f) Changed the content of "Test Layout" and refined it into "Select Test Scenario", "Build Coordinate System Information", "Build Test Point" and "Deployment Target". "Measurement System" four requirements (see 6.3, 2014 version of 6.3);

g) "Others" are added and refined into four elements. "real coordinates", "location data output format", "location update frequency" and "default tolerance" Seek (see 6.4, 6.4 and 6.5 of the 2014 edition);

h) The specific contents of "positioning accuracy", "positioning accuracy" and "positioning delay" in the test method have been changed, and "accurate floor judgment" has been added. "rate", "indoor and outdoor judgment accuracy", "relative position accuracy", "positioning success rate", "moving speed", "coverage" and "concurrency", delete In addition to "tag capacity" and "tag direction change" (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the 2014 edition).

This document is proposed and coordinated by the National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC28).

Introduction

my country released GB/T 31101 in 2014, which stipulates the performance testing requirements and testing methods of real-time positioning systems. but

GB/T 31101-2014 only proposes test requirements and test methods for the performance of real-time positioning systems for radio frequency identification positioning technology, but does not It is suitable for real-time positioning systems using other positioning technologies. Standard applications have certain limitations. In view of this, it is necessary to revise and improve

GB/T 31101, to adapt to the development of indoor positioning technology and the new needs of real-time positioning system performance testing.

This revision of GB/T 31101 takes into account the applicability of different positioning technologies, test scene layout and system performance testing methods.

The method has been improved and can provide effective guidance for testing, inspection or certification services of real-time positioning system products.

1 Scope

This document specifies the test requirements for the performance of real-time positioning systems focusing on indoor navigation and describes its test methods.

This document is suitable for testing and evaluating the performance of real-time positioning systems focusing on indoor navigation.

2 Normative reference documents

This document has no normative references.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Circular probability error

It is a two-dimensional point accuracy distribution measure with the true position of the point to be measured as the center of the circle and the probability of deviation from the center of the circle as a certain value.

3.2 Spherical probability error

It is a three-dimensional point accuracy distribution measure with the true position of the point to be measured as the center of the sphere and the probability of deviation from the center of the sphere as a certain value.

3.3 Static positioning

A positioning terminal that is stationary or almost stationary. [Source: GB/T 19391-2003, 3.32, with modifications]

3.4 Dynamic positioning

A kind of positioning when the positioning terminal is in a moving state. The position coordinates of the positioning terminal in motion are solved in time sequence. [Source: GB/T 19391-2003, 3.33, with modifications]

3.5 Positioning accuracy position precision

Under specified conditions, the degree of consistency between multiple measurement positioning coordinate results. [Source: GB/T 6379.1-2004, 3.12, with modifications]

3.6 Positioning accuracy position accuracy

The degree of consistency between the measurement positioning coordinate results of the point to be measured and the real coordinates. [Source: GB/T 6379.1-2004, 3.6, with modifications]
