Scope

GB/T 30752-2014 is the English-translated version of 道路施工与养护机械设备 沥青混合料搅拌设备 安全要求.

China's national safety standard for asphalt mixing plants. It specifies the safety requirements for fixed and mobile plants producing asphalt mixture for the construction and maintenance of traffic routes such as roads and airfields, and for water-retaining structures, dam walls and culverts. It covers asphalt mixing plants, cold feed mixing plants, asphalt material recycling plants, natural asphalt processing plants and binder storage installations. The document is built on a hazard-based structure rather than a component-based one: clause 4 lists the significant hazards associated with these plants in the conditions the manufacturer can foresee, clause 5 gives the technical measures that eliminate or reduce the resulting risks, and clause 6 gives the means of verifying that those measures are in place. That order is what makes it a machinery safety standard in the modern sense - the requirements exist because a specific hazard was identified, and each can be traced back to it. The hazards themselves are serious and characteristic of the plant. Asphalt binder is handled hot, at temperatures where a splash causes a deep burn that cannot be cooled off the skin; the aggregate dryer is a large open flame with a fuel supply; the mixing tower is a structure of elevated platforms and enclosed spaces reached by ladders and walkways; and the whole plant is a dust environment with rotating and reciprocating machinery throughout. Three normative annexes cover the skip hoist and loading hopper, access openings, and the walkways, platforms, stairs, ladders and guard rails, with an informative annex illustrating the plant and its terminology. Issued on 9 June 2014 and in force since 1 January 2015.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the production and construction and maintenance of traffic routes (roads, airports, etc.), water retaining structures, dam walls, culverts and other used Lek Safety requirements for green mix of fixed and mobile mixing equipment. This standard applies to the following devices.

a) asphalt mixing equipment;

b) cold feed mixing equipment;

c) bituminous material recycling equipment;

d) natural asphalt processing equipment;

e) asphalt binder storage devices. This standard deals with all significant hazards associated asphalt mixing and use of devices intended to be used in manufacturer foreseeable conditions of (See Chapter 4). This standard specifies the major hazards to eliminate or reduce these risks appropriate technical measures arising. The standard danger caused by combustible gases not covered, nor the risk of mechanical and pneumatic conveying equipment caused involve, for example to the belt Feeder, screw feeder, plate feeder, rotary valve, belt conveyors, screw conveyors, pneumatic conveyors, compressors and pumps. This standard does not apply to mobile asphalt production process machinery, does not apply to the production of concrete machinery. This standard applies to its implementation after the date of manufacture of the machinery.
