Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 29893-2013 "Logs for Sawn Timber for Light Wood Structures". Compared with GB/T 29893-2013, except for structural adjustment In addition to rectification and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the material index (see 4.3, 4.3 of the 2013 edition);

b) Added inspection tools (see 5.1);

c) Increased judgment method (see Chapter 6);

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements, inspection methods, sampling and judgment methods, volume calculations and product marks for logs used in sawn timber for light wood structures.

This document is applicable to the production, trade and quality inspection of logs for sawn timber for light wood structures.
