3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 2900.23-2008 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Self-limiting temperature heaters self-regulatingheatingelement
Sheet-like heat generating element by the electrodes, PTC thermistors and electrically insulating sheet composed of laminated.
3.2 Steady state steadilyworkingcondition
Under specified test conditions, self-limiting temperature electric heating sheet surface temperature fluctuation range at any point does not exceed 2 °C/h working condition,
It called steady state.
3.3 Operating temperature
Under test conditions, when the rated voltage energized to steady state operation, self-limiting temperature average surface temperature of the heaters.
3.4 Heating time
Under test conditions, the rated voltage is energized, the surface temperature is raised to 90% of the time required for steady state temperature.
