Scope
GB/T 29155-2012 is the English-translated version of 透明翡翠(无色)分级.
GB/T 29155-2012 sets the rules for grading transparent, colourless jadeite. It fixes the grades for transparency, texture, tone and the clarity of the colour, and how a stone is judged against them, for polished natural jadeite both loose and mounted.
It is written for oval cabochons, and stones of other cuts may be graded by reference to it. Laboratories issuing a report, traders and auction houses use it so that a grade written in one place means the same in another. Issued on 31 December 2012, it has applied since 1 October 2013.

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
The standard proposed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Land Resources.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the mosaic and non-mosaic natural polished emerald transparent (colorless) grading rules.
This standard applies to unmounted oval cabochon emerald and inlaid transparent (colorless).
Oval cabochon emerald non-transparent (colorless) transparency, texture, tone and color clarity grade category, can refer to this standard carried out.
