Scope
GB/T 27653-2011 is the English-translated version of 防腐木材中季铵盐的分析方法 两相滴定法.
GB/T 27653-2011 specifies the methods for analysing two quaternary ammonium salts, didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) and dodecyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (BAC), in ammonia or amine dissolved copper quaternary (ACQ) wood preservative, by the two-phase titration named in its title.
Clause 1 applies it to the analysis and testing of DDAC and BAC in ACQ wood preservative. Clause 2 cites GB/T 14019 alone, and clause 3 adopts the terms and definitions established in that document.
Clause 4, the analysis of DDAC and BAC, opens with the instruments and equipment, which are a 10 mL microburette, a 100 mL stoppered glass cylinder, a 50 mL threaded extraction bottle with a polytetrafluoroethylene stopper, an ultrasonic bath, a plant crusher and an analytical balance reading to 0.1 mg.
It then lists the reagents, among them Acid Blue 1, a bromide reagent whose chemical name the draft garbles, Hamming 1622 at 99.0% analytical purity, ethanol at 99.7% analytical grade, chloroform at 99%, concentrated hydrochloric acid at 36% and sodium dodecyl sulfate at 95%, and begins the solution preparation with the 0.004 mol/L sodium dodecyl sulfate solution, made by dissolving 1.14 g to 1.16 g of the salt in about 100 mL of distilled water in a 250 mL beaker, adding one drop of triethanolamine and diluting to the mark in a 1000 mL volumetric flask.
The draft breaks off inside that first solution, so the titration procedure, the calculation and any inspection provisions are not shown.
The foreword states that the standard was developed with reference to standard A18-05 of the American wood preservative association on the determination of quaternary ammonium salts in timber by the two-phase titration method, that it was proposed by the State Forestry Administration and is handled by the National Standardization Technical Committee of timber, and that it was drafted by the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Forestry, with the Guangdong Provincial Forest Products Quality Supervision and Inspection Station and the State Forestry Administration Forest Products Quality Inspection and Testing Center (Guangzhou) taking part. It was issued on 2011-12-30 and has applied since 2012-04-01.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the ammonia (amine) dissolved copper quaternary (ACQ) wood preservative didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) and dodecyl benzyl bis Methyl ammonium chloride (BAC) analysis of two methods of quaternary ammonium salt.
This standard applies to ACQ wood preservative in the DDAC and BAC analysis and test two kinds of quaternary ammonium salt.

4.2.1.4 Ethanol (analytical grade, 99.7%).
4.2.1.5 Chloroform (AR, 99%).
4.2.1.6 Concentrated hydrochloric acid (AR, 36%).
4.2.1.7 Sodium dodecyl sulfate (AR, 95%).
4.2.2 Solution preparation
4.2.2.1 0.004mol/L sodium dodecyl sulfate Weigh 1.14g ~ 1.16g sodium lauryl sulfate, placed in 250mL beaker, dissolved in distilled water (about 100 mL), was added one drop of Triethanolamine, fully transferred to 1000mL volumetric flask, dilute to the mark with distilled water.
