Part 20 of the series on verification of stability for industrial trucks, this recommended national standard describes an additional stability test for trucks working under the special condition of offset load, where the load is offset by the way the truck is used. Stability against tipping is a core safety property of forklift and similar trucks. It adopts an international standard.

Truck manufacturers, test laboratories, safety engineers and fleet operators that handle offset or unusual loads will find it relevant. It replaces GB/T 26949.20-2016, so test procedures that cite the earlier edition should be revised.

As a GB/T document it is recommended rather than mandatory, though it is used alongside the other parts of the series. It was issued on 30 July 2026 under the responsibility of the China Machinery Industry Federation and takes effect on 1 February 2027.
