1 Scope

GB/T 26055-2022 is the Chinese national standard on reproduced tungsten carbide powder, in the field of metallurgy. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 11 July 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 February 2023. 5.2 Particle size Reproduced tungsten carbide powder shall be sifted through a sieve with an aperture size of 150 µm, and the oversize powder shall not exceed 5% (mass fraction). The Fisher particle size of reproduced tungsten carbide powder shall not be greater than 4.0 µm.

5.3 Appearance quality The reproduced tungsten carbide powder is gray-black powder, and the particle size and color of the powder shall be uniform; it shall be dry and have no agglomeration and no visible impurities.
