Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 20508-2006 "Carbide Powder", compared with GB/T 20508-2006, except for editorial modification The changes are as follows.

--- Increased the content of Co, Cr, Mo, S, W impurities in each grade, modified the Fe, K, Na, Si, Ti impurities of TaC-1 Content requirements (see 3.2, 3.2 of the 2006 edition);

---Modified packaging method (see 6.2.1, 6.2.1 of 2006 edition);

--- Revised the measurement range of the total carbon content in the normative Appendix A, the specifications and treatment methods of the porcelain boat, the correction factor of the formula (A.1) and The unit of reading (see A.1, 2006 edition of A.1).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, quality certificates and contracts for tantalum carbide powder (or order form) and other content.

This standard applies to tantalum carbide powder prepared from carbonized yttria (or tantalum powder). The product is used as an additive for the production of cemented carbide.
