Scope
GB/T 25681-2010 is the English-translated version of 印刷机械 胶粘装订联动机.
GB/T 25681-2010 specifies the basic parameters, models and names, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transport and storage of perfect binding machines, and applies to binding lines made up of gathering, perfect binding, splitting, three-knife trimming, counting and stacking and conveying units, or of gathering, binding and conveying units linked to other stand-alone machines.
The basic parameters cover binding formats from 140 mm x 100 mm to 450 mm x 300 mm, binding thicknesses of 3 mm to 50 mm and speed classes up to and above 10 000 books per hour.
The requirements cover automatic continuous operation with detection of double and missing signatures, running performance, a bearing temperature rise of not more than 30 °C, noise of not more than 85 dB(A), guarding, interlocks and emergency stops, electrical safety to GB 5226.1-2008, and finished book quality: spine milling skew, spine text offset, spine thickness, cover displacement, trimming accuracy and an acceptance rate of at least 98 %.
The test methods set out the test signatures and covers, no-load running, noise measurement, electrical checks, routine binding and limit binding tests at maximum and minimum formats, thicknesses and speed, followed by factory and type inspection rules and requirements for nameplates, packing and accompanying documents.
