1 Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements for the design and manufacture of traction devices used in the processing of plastics and rubber, including cables, cable cores, profiles, and tubing.

Require.

This document applies to the entire lifecycle of the aforementioned traction device (see section 5.4 of GB/T 15706-2012), during the intended use process.

In addition, all significant hazards and dangers related to the traction device that may arise from misuse that the manufacturer could reasonably foresee.

Hazardous conditions and dangerous events (see Appendix A).

This document includes the following types of traction devices that run from the feeding zone to the discharge zone.

--- Tracked traction device;

---Belt-type traction device;

---Windlock traction device;

---Belt winch traction device;

---Roller conveyor traction device.

This document does not include cutting devices that are integrated with or connected to the traction device.

This document does not include pick-up devices used on film or sheet production lines.
