4 Requirements

4.1 Normal use conditions

4.2 Safety requirements

4.2.1 General safety

The parts which use flammable substances, pressurized media, electrical energy, mechanical energy, etc. in the power generation system should meet requirements of relevant standards. The main parts include.

4.2.2 Safety of fuel supply and processing subsystem of power

generation system

4.2.4 Safety monitoring, security subsystems

Subsystems such as fuel supply subsystem (excluding fuel storage container), oxidant supply subsystem, water/heat management subsystem, control subsystem in power generation system should be connected with safety monitoring, security subsystems. Safety monitoring, security subsystems automatically control the safety of each subsystems, and shall, according to changes in the operation of power generation system, provide corresponding sound, light reminder and auto on-off control, so as to ensure the normal and safe operation of power generation system.

4.3 Fuel supply

The fuel supplied to the power generation system shall comply with the relevant specific fuel cell power generation system standards and requirements.

Impurities it contains which may have harmful effects on the power generation system should be within the manufacturer's specified scope.

4.5 Oxidant treatment subsystem

The oxidant treatment subsystem which includes filter, piping, processing device, sensor, valve, etc. shall comply with corresponding standards. The filter in the oxidizer supply subsystem is only for the treatment of particle grade dust.

4.6 Thermal management subsystem

The thermal management subsystem which includes radiator and matching fan, pipe, circulating fluid pump, valve, sensor, cooling fluid storage box and replenishment box, etc. shall comply with corresponding standards.

4.10 Start time

When power generation system carries out start test according to 5.2, the time required from start-up to idle conditions should be in accordance with the manufacturer's provisions.

4.13 Anti-vibration reliability

The power generation system shall have certain ability to resist vibration, shall comply with GB/Z 18333.1-2001, shall ensure that the impact vibration generated during the normal use shall not damage each part of power generation system, shall ensure the normal operation of the whole power generation system.

5 Test methods

5.1 Safety test

5.1.1 Gas leakage test

Close fuel chamber, oxidant chamber and cooling fluid chamber outlets of fuel cell stack in power generation system. Only through a fuel pipe inlet on the stacking board, connect with pressure gauge and flowmeter. Make inert gas (nitrogen, argon, etc.)

5.1.2 Insulation strength test

Use megger to measure the current motherboard and power generation system package resistance respectively led by fuel cell stack positive and negative electrodes of power generation system. The insulation resistance of positive and negative electrodes to vehicle body shall exceed 100 ohm/V.

5.2 Start characteristic test

The test shall be carried out according to the provisions of GB/T 24554-2009 and manufacturer's provisions.

5.3 Work conditions test

Under each conditions such as idle conditions, partially loaded conditions, rated conditions, overload conditions, respectively measure fuel consumption, battery stack output current and voltage, net output current and voltage of power generation system. Measure the power consumption of auxiliary support

5.4 Dynamic response characteristic test

Evaluate the dynamic loading response and loading impact capability of power generation system. It shall mainly carry out the dynamic response time test and the dynamic cyclic loading test.

5.4.1 Dynamic response time test

6 Inspection rules

6.1 Each fuel cell power generation system is subject to inspection before leaving the factory with product certification. For different products, inspection is divided into type test, routine test and acceptance test.

6.3 For each product that is normally produced during the validity period of the type test, only the routine test shall be carried out. Routine tests include air tightness and insulation strength tests. The test methods are as follows.

6.4 For products specified in the contract between the supplier and the purchaser, if the contract has clearly defined the inspection items and test methods, the acceptance shall be carried out according to the provisions of the contract.
