Scope
GB/T 25217.6-2019 is the English-translated version of 冲击地压测定、监测与防治方法 第6部分:钻屑监测方法.
GB/T 25217.6-2019 is Part 6 of the Chinese national series on testing, monitoring and preventing rock burst, and it covers the drill-cuttings monitoring method.
It gives the terms and definitions, the instruments and equipment, the drilling work and the way an impact hazard is judged from the coal powder a borehole produces.
The quantities it defines are the pulverized coal volume per metre of hole, the drilling depth, the dynamic effects felt while drilling, and the normal and actual pulverized coal volumes.
It applies to drill-cuttings monitoring in coal mines, but not where the coal seam is too wet or too soft. It cites GB/T 16414, was issued on 18 October 2019 and has applied since 1 May 2020.
