Scope

GB/T 24769-2009 is the English-translated version of 工业用丙烯酰胺.

GB/T 24769-2009 fixes the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport, storage and safety provisions for acrylamide for industrial use.

Clause 1 states that it applies to the production, testing and marketing of industrial acrylamide made with acrylonitrile as the raw material, and records the molecular formula C3H5ON and a molecular weight of 71.08 based on the 2007 international relative atomic masses.

Clause 3 gives the appearance of the product as white crystals, and clause 4 refers the technical requirements to Table 1. Appendix A is normative.

The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and is administered by the Organic Chemicals Branch of the National Chemical Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC 63/SC 2). It was issued on 15 December 2009 and has applied since 1 July 2010.

Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix. The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for industrial use acrylamide, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and security.

This standard applies to acrylonitrile for raw materials for industrial use acrylamide production, testing and marketing.
