Scope
GB/T 24737.2-2012 is the English-translated version of 工艺管理导则 第2部分：产品工艺工作程序.
GB/T 24737.2-2012 is Part 2 of GB/T 24737 and specifies the main work of the product process and the work belonging to each corresponding stage. Clause 1 applies it to process work for the trial production of new products, for production and for the improvement of old products in machinery manufacturing enterprises, and states no exclusions.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 4863-2008, GB/T 24736.3-2009 and GB/T 24736.4-2009 together with the other parts of GB/T 24737, several of whose reference entries the draft garbles, and clause 3 makes the terms and definitions of GB/T 4863-2008 applicable.
Clause 4 fixes the span of the work, from the process research carried out in the technology development stage of a new product to the end of product packaging and storage, and sends the reader to Appendix A for the flow chart of the product process.
Clause 5, on the content of the work, begins with the product design research stage, in which the enterprise is to understand the structure of the product and the user's requirements for it, to look at the processes and the process level of identical or similar products, to collect the relevant or similar process standards and information, and to analyse the manufacturability, maintainability, safety, economy and reusability of the product over its full life cycle.
The draft breaks off at the end of that first subclause, so the later stages of the procedure are not shown.
The foreword states that GB/T 24737 is divided into nine parts, that this part was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009, and that it was proposed by and is centralized by the national technical committee on technical product documentation (SAC/TC146). It was issued on 2012-05-11 and has applied since 2012-12-01.

1 Scope
This part of GB/T 24737 specifies the main work of the product process and the corresponding phase of the work.
This part applies to the machinery manufacturing enterprise new product trial production, production or old product improvement process work.

4 Product process work procedures
Product process work is from the new product technology development stage of the process research to the end of the product packaging storage.
See Appendix A for the flow chart of the product process.
5 Product process work content
5.1 Product design research phase
5.1.1 understand the structure of the product and the user's requirements for the product.
5.1.2 understand the similar products or similar products, process and process level.
5.1.3 Collection of relevant or similar process standards and information.
5.1.4 Analyze the manufacturability, maintainability, safety, economy, and reusability of the product's full life cycle.
