GB/T 2433-2001 is the English-translated version of 添加剂和含添加剂润滑油硫酸盐灰分测定法.

GB/T 2433-2001 — This standard specifies: Determination unused with additives for lubricants and lubricating reconcile additive concentrates sulfated ash content methods.

These additives typically comprise one or more metals: barium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, potassium, sodium and tin pigment. And elemental sulfur, phosphorus, chlorine and places bound form.

This standard measurement sulfated ash the lower limit of 0. 005 wt%. When less than 0. 02% sulfated ash, This standard applies only to contain only ash additive lubricants.

This standard does not apply to the determination used leaded additives engine oil, does not apply to non-additive lubricants, For these oils can be used GB/T 508.
