1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of product Daxing Watermelon, GI product range protection of geographical indications, requirements, test methods, inspection Rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 Daxing watermelon
Within the scope of the provisions of Chapter 4 standard, according to the standard cultivation techniques of production, product quality comply with the technical requirements of the standard, quality

4 GI protection product range
Daxing Watermelon GI products is limited to the scope of the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine Notice No. 49 of 2007, approved by Fan Wai, the Beijing Daxing District has jurisdiction over administrative area Panggezhuang town, North Zang towns and villages, the town of stability, Lixian Town, Weishan Town, YuFaZhen, see Appendix A.
5 Requirements
5.1 Natural Environment
5.1.1 Environmental Characteristics
The region is located in the southern suburbs of Beijing, the northern part of North China Plain. The whole territory belongs to the Yongding River alluvial flood plain, elevation 13m ~ 52m, belongs to warm Temperate semi-humid continental monsoon climate, four distinct seasons, dry and sunny.
