Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 21898-2008 "Textile Color Representation Method". Compared with GB/T 21898-2008, except for structural adjustments In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Changed the expression method of standard values (see 5.2, 4.2.5 of the 2008 version)

b) Changed the method of determining the label (see 5.3, 4.2.5 and 5.2 of the 2008 edition);

c) The measurement and color difference evaluation methods of the instrument have been changed (see 6.1, 5.1 and 5.2 of the 2008 edition);

d) Added visual measurement and color difference evaluation methods (see 6.2);

e) Added the correspondence between the brightness label and the brightness factor in normative appendix A (see Table A.1, Table 2 of the 2008 version);

f) The color data values corresponding to the labels in Appendix B have been changed (see Table B.1, Table A.1 of the 2008 version).

1 Scope

This document specifies the color stereo, labeling, measurement and color difference evaluation of textile colors.

This document is applicable to the expression of textile colors and can be used as a reference when expressing colors in other industries related to textiles.
