Scope
GB/T 21648-2023 is the English-translated version of 金属丝编织密纹网.
GB/T 21648-2023 covers industrial dense woven wire cloth, woven from metal wire with nominal pore diameters of 3 µm to 347 µm and used to filter gases and liquids and to separate other media.
It sets the structural types, the models and specifications, the marking, the technical requirements, the inspection methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage, with an informative appendix of structural parameters.
It defines the mesh size between warp wires and, with Figure 1, the nominal aperture, the warp and weft diameters and the warp hole pitch, and it cites GB/T 15602, GB/T 17492 and JB/T 7860.
It replaces GB/T 21648-2008, was issued on 7 September 2023 and has applied since 1 April 2024.
