This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 17492-2012 "Technical Requirements and Inspection of Industrial Wire Woven Mesh". With GB/T 17492-

Compared with.2012, the main technical content changes are as follows.

--- Revised the terms and definitions, deleted the original definitions of "3.6 unit length net holes" "3.11 net block" and "3.12 net bar";

--- Revised the technical requirements for mesh size tolerance in 4.2, and improved the average size limit deviation of austenitic stainless steel wire mesh

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, and quality documents for industrial wire woven meshes used for screening and filtration.

Items, ordering information, and shipping.

This standard applies to industrial wire woven square hole mesh made of steel, stainless steel or non-ferrous metals.

This standard does not apply to wire-plated wire mesh, pre-bent wire-woven mesh, and wire-welded mesh after weaving.

Wire woven mesh for screening and filtering purposes can refer to the use of this standard. When ordering, the supply and demand sides negotiate to determine specific technical requirements.
