Scope
GB/T 20090.1-2012 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 先进音视频编码 第1部分:系统.
GB/T 20090.1-2012 is the Chinese standard "Information technology - Advanced coding of audio and video - Part 1: System". Its scope clause reads: This section GB/T 20090 specifies the coding system layer, mainly used in combination GB/T 20090 definition video bit stream and audio bit flow.
System layer supports the following five basic functions. a) a plurality of synchronous decoding the compressed bit stream; b) a plurality of compressed bit stream interleaved into a single bit stream; c) for the start of the decoding buffer is initialized; d) continuous buffer management; e) time stamp.
This section applies to digital television broadcasting, laser digital storage media, Internet broadband streaming media and multimedia communication applications.
A multiplexed bit stream may be a transport stream or program stream. Both streams are PES packet or packets containing other necessary information packet constitute.
Both streams types support multiplexing from having a common time base program video and audio compression bit stream. Transport Stream also supports Multiplexing from multiple programs with independent time base compressed video and audio bit stream.
Program Stream is generally more suitable for almost error does not occur Environment and support software program information processing. Transport Stream is more suitable for the environment can go wrong.
Whether it is a transport stream or program stream structure a multiplexed bit stream is divided into two layers. the outermost layer is the system layer, the innermost layer is compressed.
System layer provides the use of the system in one or more compressed data streams desired function. GB/T 20090 Part 2 and Part 3 set Compression coding layer defines the audio and video data.
Other types of data encoding definition not included in this section, but if they comply with this The definitions section in Chapter 9, the system also supports layers such data encoding.

1 Scope
This section GB/T 20090 specifies the coding system layer, mainly used in combination GB/T 20090 definition video bit stream and audio bit flow. System layer supports the following five basic functions.
a) a plurality of synchronous decoding the compressed bit stream;
b) a plurality of compressed bit stream interleaved into a single bit stream;
c) for the start of the decoding buffer is initialized;
d) continuous buffer management;
e) time stamp.
Transport Stream also supports
Multiplexing from multiple programs with independent time base compressed video and audio bit stream. Program Stream is generally more suitable for almost error does not occur
Environment and support software program information processing.
GB/T 20090 Part 2 and Part 3 set
Compression coding layer defines the audio and video data. Other types of data encoding definition not included in this section, but if they comply with this
The definitions section in Chapter 9, the system also supports layers such data encoding.
