This section replaces GB/T 19557.4-2004 "Guidelines for Testing Plant Variety Specificity, Consistency and Stability".

Compared with GB/T 19557.4-2004, the main technical changes in this section are as follows.

---Modified standard name;

--- Modified the grouping traits (see Chapter 9, see 7.2 of the 2004 edition);

--- Added 3 traits. the angle between the branch and the main stem, the type of seed coat and the number of seed coat colors (see A.1, see A.1 of the 2004 edition);

--- Revised the expression status and standard varieties of some traits in the soybean traits table (see A.1 and A.2, see A.1 of the 2004 edition);

--- Revised the soybean growth stage table in the explanation of the soybean traits table (see B.1, see A.2 of the 2004 edition);

--- Revised the interpretation of individual traits in the interpretation of the soybean traits table (see B.3, see Appendix B of the 2004 edition);

--- Revised the breeding mode and variety use of the soybean technology questionnaire (see Appendix C, see Appendix C of the 2004 edition).

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 19557 gives a test for the specificity, consistency and stability of soybean (Glycinmax (L.) Merril). General principles of technical points and outcome determination.

This section applies to soybean variety specificity, consistency and stability testing and results determination.
