Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting.

This document replaces GB/T 19526-2004 "Technical Specifications for the Prevention and Control of Parasitic Diseases in Sheep". Compared with GB/T 19526-2004, except for the structure...

Aside from adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

— Added sheep infection with Theileria, Babesia, Toxoplasmosis, Coccidiosis, Trematodiasis, Tapeworm, Ticks, and Lice/Flies.

Prevention and control techniques (see 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.9, 5.12, 5.14);

— The prevention and control requirements have been revised, and separate prevention and control measures are now implemented for major sheep parasitic diseases (see Chapter 6, Chapter 3 of the 2004 edition);

— Added evaluation of treatment effectiveness (see 6.2.1.2.4);

— Immunoprophylaxis has been added (see 6.3);

— Added biosafety management requirements (see Chapter 7);

— Added record and file management (see Chapter 8).
