Foreword

This standard replaces GB/T 18593-2001 "fusion bonded epoxy powder coating anti-corrosion coating." This standard compared with GB/T 18593-2001 main changes are as follows:

a) an increase of 3.5 "structure" is defined;

1 Scope

GB/T 18593-2010 is the Chinese national standard on anti-corrosive painting of fusion bonded epoxy coating powders, in the field of manufacturing engineering. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it.
