This document specifies the basic requirements for the preparation of off-site nuclear emergency response plans and their implementation procedures in the provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) where nuclear power plants are located, as well as... This document applies to off-site nuclear emergency preparedness and response in the province (autonomous region, municipality) where the nuclear power plant is located, and to other nuclear facilities requiring off-site emergency response. 3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 emergency plan It describes the work objectives, policies, and response philosophy of emergency response, as well as the organizations and functions for conducting a systematic, coordinated, and effective response. Responsibility, and the approved documents.
Note. This must be implemented through specific emergency execution procedures.
3.2 Provide a detailed description of the set of prescriptive documents upon which actions are based during emergency preparedness and response.
3.3 Measures taken during an emergency to avoid or reduce the dose that staff and the public may receive.
3.4 Iodine protection (iodine prophylaxis) In cases where an accident has resulted in or may result in the release of radioactive isotopes of iodine, compounds containing non-radioactive iodine (stable iodine) will be disposed of. The drug was distributed to residents as a protective medication to reduce the radiation dose to the thyroid gland.
