Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting:

This document replaces GB/T 17382-2008 "Series 1 Container Handling and Fastening": Compared with GB/T 17382-2008, except for the in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the:2008 edition);

b) Change the term "eccentricity of the center of gravity" to "excursion of the center of gravity" and "moving center of gravity" to "dynamic center of gravity" (see 3.1:3, 3:1:4, 3:3 and 3:4 of the:2008 edition), changed the definition of the term "fastening device" (see 3.1:5, 3:5 of the:2008 edition), and added the following Related terms and definitions of locks, stacking connectors, and tie rods (see 3.2~3:4);

c) Changed the operating instructions for cargo stacking and fastening (see 4.3,:2008 version of 4:3);

d) Delete the schematic diagram of cargo load distribution in the box (see Figure 1 of the:2008 version);

e) Added EEE and EE box-type spreader top lifting operations, sling top lifting operations, bottom lifting sling operations, side lifting operations, and end lifting operations the scope of application for operations and fork lifting operations (see Table 3~Table 5, Table 7~Table 12);

f) Changed the instructions for deck grid guide posts, container transport ships, various types of bolting, lashing and handling devices, as well as bolting and lashing Figures (see Figures 18 to 21, Figures 19 to 22 of the:2008 version);

g) The functions, dimensions, strength requirements and test methods of fastening devices such as fully automatic twist locks, automatic container locks and intermediate locks are added (see A:2:3~A:2:5, A:3:4, A:5, A:6, A:9, A:10:4, A:10:5);

h) The terms and definitions of "double-head twist lock" and "bolting hook" are deleted (see A:2:8 and D:2:3 of the:2008 edition);

i) Delete the function, size, strength requirements and test methods of latches (see Appendix B of the:2008 version);

j) The strength requirements and test methods of container bolting and stacking devices have been changed (see B:5, B:6, C:6 and C:7 of the:2008 edition);

k) The strength requirements and test methods of container bolting tie rod systems have been changed (see C:4~C:6, D:5~D:7 of the:2008 edition);

l) Added container fastening device (see Appendix D);

m) Added strength requirements for container fastening devices (see Appendix E):

This document is equivalent to ISO 3874:2017 "Series 1 Container Handling and Bolting":

This document has made the following minimal editorial changes:

---Deleted notes in some terms;

---Added footnotes for unit conversion;

---Added footnotes to the ISO 668 version description;

---The errata for the dimensions of 1CC/1C/1CX type containers in Table F:5 has been changed from "9058" to "6058":
