1 Scope
This standard specifies the parental and hybrid sorghum production technology requirements.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Breeder seed
Breeders bred stable hereditary characteristics consistent with the first batch of seeds.
3.2 Original Seed basicseed
With breeder seed breeding first generation to the second generation, to reach the required standard GB 4404.1-2008 seeds.
3.3 Breeding with parent seed
Original Seed breeding time, the purity requirements of this standard, other quality to meet the required standard GB 4404.1-2008 seeds.
3.4 Seed with parent seed
Breeding time and quality to meet with the parent seed breeding GB 4404.1-2008 prescribed standards for the preparation of seed production of hybrid seed.
3.5 Hybrid seed
GB 4404.1-2008 quality to meet the required standards, it is used in field production of seed.
