Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 1646-2012 "2-Naphthol". Compared with GB/T 1646-2012, the main technical changes except for editorial changes Change as follows.

--- Amend "CASRN" to "CAS Number" (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2012 edition);

---Added thio-2-naphthol content control items and indicators (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the index of first-class products with low boiling content (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the index of qualified products with naphthalene content (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the indicators of first-class and qualified products with 2,2'-binaphthol content (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the indicators of qualified products with high boiling content (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the sampling volume (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the appearance evaluation method (see 5.2, 5.2 of the 2012 edition);

---Modified the specifications of the capillary column in the determination method of 2-naphthol purity and organic impurity content [see 5.3.2.3, 2012 edition 5.3.3e)];

---Modified the temperature programmed chromatographic conditions in the 2-naphthol purity and organic impurity content determination method (see 5.3.4, 2012 edition 5.3.4);

---Modified the solvent of the sample solution in the 2-naphthol purity and organic impurity content determination method (see 5.3.3, 2012 edition 5.3.2);

--- Deleted the "production license number" in the logo (see 7.1 of the 2012 edition);

--- Modified the allowable difference of net content of packaging (see 7.3, 2012 edition of 7.3).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of 2-naphthol.

This standard applies to the quality control of 2-naphthol products.
