2 measuring gauges and evaluation values

2.1 Measurement gauge

This standard specifies the rms vibration velocity as the characterization of machine vibration intensity measuring gauge. By the formula (1).

--- Vp RMS RMS value of vibration velocity in millimeters per second (mm/s);

T --- measurement period in seconds (s).

2.2 Evaluation of the magnitude

This standard uses the vibration intensity of the machine as the evaluation of machine vibration magnitude, (2) as defined in the formula.

Vp s --- vibration intensity in millimeters per second (mm/s);

Vp X, Vp Y, Z --- Vp are X, Y, vibration velocity Z3 mutually perpendicular directions rms, in millimeters per second (mm/s);

NX, NY, NZ --- respectively X, Y, measurement points on the Z3 directions.
