Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document replaces GB/T 15724-2008 Laboratory Glassware Beakers. Compared with GB/T 15724-2008, except for the structure in addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

The low-profile beakers now have 4 000 mL and 10 000 mL specifications (see Chapter 4);

Changed the beaker wall thickness requirements (see 5.4.3, 4.2.3 of the 2008 edition); -the physical and chemical performance requirements have been changed (see 6.2, 5.2 of the 2008 edition); -the appearance requirements have been changed (see 6.3, 5.3 of the 2008 edition); -Changed the marking requirements (see 9.1, 8.1 of the 2008 edition). -this document is modified to adopt ISO 3819:2015 "Laboratory glassware beakers".

Compared with ISO 3819:2015, this document has many structural adjustments.

This document has many technical differences compared to ISO 3819:2015.

A list of these technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix B.

1 Scope

This document specifies the classification and specification series of beakers, structural types and specifications, technical requirements, inspection rules and marking, packaging, Transport and storage, describes the test methods.

This document applies to the production, packaging, transportation and storage of laboratory glassware beakers made of borosilicate glass.
