Foreword

This standard is equivalent to using ISO 4149:2005 "green coffee Olfactory and visual examination and determination of impurities and defects" (in English).

This standard replaces GB/T 15033-1994 "green coffee smell and visual examination and determination of impurities and defects." the main difference compared with the standard GB/T 15033-1994 as follows.

--- Added "normative references", "terms and definitions" and "sample" chapters;

--- In the "determination of impurities and defects" chapter, an increase of principle, clearly defined end result should be expressed to the requirements of ISO 10470 Defects on coffee quality and in accordance with the "quality of the affected units' quantified;

--- Increasing the test report;

--- Redefined the content of Appendix A of deleting the previous version of Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C.

Appendix A of this standard is an informative annex.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the test method for green coffee (greencoffee) and visual and olfactory determination of impurities and defects.

This standard applies to smell and examination and determination of impurities and defects in green coffee to the naked eye.
