Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

This standard replaces GB/T 14590-1993 "buttons with a liquid unsaturated polyester resin", compared with the GB/T 14590-1993, the main Changes are as follows.

--- The "2 Normative references" to "2 Normative references" (see Chapter 2, Section 2 of the 1993 edition);

--- Increasing the terms and definitions in the definition of liquid unsaturated polyester resins, resin cast (see Chapter 3);

--- Remove the definitions of terms and definitions peak exothermic temperature (see the 1993 version of Chapter 3);

--- Revised Chapter 4, the heading "type of resin" to "product name" and revised the naming rules (see Chapter 4, 1993 Chapter 4 edition);

--- Revised Chapter 5 in Table 1, the "liquid resin technical indicators" with "liquid resin requirements", and modify some of the indicators (see Table 1, 1993 edition of the Table 1);

--- Revised Chapter 5 in Table 2, the "castings technical indicators" with "resin cast requirements", and modify some of the indicators (see Table 2, 1993 edition of the Table 2);

--- Modify the appearance of the detection method (see 611, 1993 version 6.1.1.);

--- Remove the maximum temperature and the minimum curing time measurement (see the 1993 version 6.1.8);

--- Increasing the tensile properties of resin casting body measurement (see 6.2.3);

--- Modified Casting impact strength measurement method (see 6.2 2, 1993 edition of 6.2.3). The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the name, the technical requirements of buttons with a liquid unsaturated polyester resin products, test methods, inspection rules and packaging, marking Chi, transportation and storage.

This standard applies to styrene as a major cross-linking agent with a liquid unsaturated polyester resin.
