Scope

GB/T 14541-2017 is the English-translated version of 电厂用矿物涡轮机油维护管理导则.

GB/T 14541-2017 tells Chinese power plants how to look after the mineral turbine oil that lubricates and governs steam turbines, water turbines and gas turbines; it may also be followed for auxiliaries such as synchronous condensers and feed pumps, but not for non-mineral synthetic fluids.

It describes the properties of turbine oil, sampling to GB/T 7597, acceptance of new oil against GB 11120 and the in-service quality limits of GB/T 7596.

Monitoring covers acid number, viscosity, flash point, water content, T501 antioxidant, demulsification, insolubles, rust prevention, foaming, air release, rotating bomb oxidation stability and particle contamination rated to SAE AS4059F.

Clauses on mixing oils, oil changes, purification and additive treatment close it, with annexes on oil service life and flushing. It replaces GB/T 14541-2005, was issued on 12 May 2017 and has applied since 1 December 2017.

Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 14541-2005 "Guidelines for the Management of Mineral Steam Turbine Oil for Power Plant Operation", and GB/T 14541-2005 In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- modified the name and scope of the standard, the turbine oil modified to turbine oil;

- in the normative reference file, increase or decrease the reference file;

--- removed the text of the "turbine oil operating life of the factors and the severity of turbine oil", this part of the content moved to Recorded --- increase the performance of turbine oil;

--- to modify the new oil acceptance of rotating oxygen bomb quality indicators;

--- increase the acceptance of new oil should be tested when the project;

--- to modify the quality of oil and oil test cycle;

--- modified the requirements for the replenishment;

--- increased demand for oil change;

--- modified the contents of the oil treatment and additives for the maintenance of turbo oil;

- Removed Appendix C Lubricant Oxidation Stability Assay (Rotational Oxygen Act).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the maintenance and management of mineral turbine turbines for power plant steam turbines, turbines and gas turbine systems for lubrication and speed regulation.

Cameras and feed pumps and other auxiliary equipment used in the maintenance and management of mineral turbine oil can also refer to the implementation.

This standard applies to the maintenance and management of mineral turbine turbines for power plant steam turbines, turbines and gas turbine systems for lubrication and speed regulation.

This standard does not apply to a variety of non-mineral synthetic liquids for turbine lubrication and speed regulation.
