1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, accompanying documents, and packages for marine radio communication equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment).

Loading, transportation, storage and spare parts and accessories.

This standard applies to radio communication equipment used on ships.
