Scope

GB/T 13633-2015 is the English-translated version of 永磁式直流测速发电机通用技术条件.

GB/T 13633-2015 specifies the classification, technical requirements and test methods, inspection rules and preparation for delivery of permanent magnet D.C. tachogenerators.

It covers type designation, frame numbers, circuit diagram and direction of rotation, and pairs each requirement with its test method: appearance, terminal strength, outline and mounting dimensions and geometric tolerances, dielectric strength (250 V to 750 V for 1 min, with peak leakage current limits of 5 mA or 10 mA), insulation resistance, armature resistance (±15 %), polarity marking, overspeed at 125 % for 2 min, output gradient, output voltage asymmetry, commutation, linearity error and ripple factor, among others including salt mist.

Most performance values are set by the product specification, with test conditions at 1500 r/min or the maximum linear operating speed and formulae for asymmetry and linearity error.

It replaces GB/T 13633-1992, aligning the structure with GB/T 7345-2008, adding leakage current limits, salt mist and r.m.s. ripple factor tests and tighter test equipment accuracy, and deleting the short-term and long-term voltage stability requirements.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 13633-1992, General specification for permanent magnet D.C. tachogenerators.

Compared with GB/T 13633-1992, apart from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

- in order to be consistent with GB/T 7345-2008, Basic technical requirements for control motors, the arrangement of the content of Clause 1 has been substantially adjusted;

- detailed requirements on the peak leakage current in the dielectric strength test have been added for tachogenerators "above frame number 130" and "below frame number 130" (see 4.9);

- technical requirements and a test method for salt mist have been added (see 4.28);

- a test method for the r.m.s. ripple factor has been added (see 4.18.2);

- more specific requirements have been set for the accuracy of test equipment;

- the technical requirements and test methods for "short-term voltage stability" and "long-term voltage stability" have been deleted (see 4.16 and 4.17 of the 1992 edition).
